Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Manager for our office in Lagos, Nigeria. In this position, you will supervise accountants in our group's entities, perform monthly reviews, reconcile accounts, monitor financial controls in place and maintain relationships with our service providers and other institutions. A successful applicant will have a suitable degree in finance and experience in the field.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Review/Analyse monthly (management) accounts for all entities.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial/management accounts i.e. P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow Statements.
• Reconcile Inter-company accounts.
• Review General Ledger accounts reconciliations (prepayments, cash advances, tax, pensions etc).
• Anchor internal and external (financial) audits for all Group entities in collaboration with Group CFO and entity accountants. 
• Supervise entity/country Accountants.
• Create/update policies for Accounts Department.
• Monitor/review spend and implement financials controls and act as focal point for cost management initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with service providers and other institutions (banks, pension providers, regulators, local tax offices etc).
• Anchor Group Budgeting and variance reporting and analysis.
• Monitor/Ensure Group adherence to expense management policies.
• Monitor Group proper maintenance of company records e.g. Fixed Assets.
• Monitor Group tax and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor Group wide pension compliance.
• Monitor/Ensure Group adequate Insurance.
• Monitor Group proper payroll processing and/or admin.
• Monitor/Ensure Group maintenance of appropriate expense accruals.
• Assist with (financial) Due Diligence of prospective investments.
• Other duties as assigned by Group CFO.
