a Duty Manager to join the team, with a specific focus on looking after
the busy hotel and department of the hotel.- JOB TITLE: HOTEL MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Duty Manager you will play a key role in the management team – assisting in the smooth operation of the hotel on a daily basis.
Staff training and supervision
Guest relations
Running of restaurant and bars
Running of events and weddings
Conducting client show rounds
Maintaining operational profitability
Assisting in reception
Health and safety
Stock controls
Cash up, daily management reports
Delivery of service standards As a direct focus you will be accountable for the conference and banqueting department of the hotel, ensuring smooth running of all events, and delivering the highest standards required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENT
Minimum of HND from a reputable institution
Must have 3-5 years experience
Excellent operational skills – with food and beverage strength, ideally in conference and banqueting
Previous hotel Duty Management experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Able to lead in a busy and demanding environment
Previous experience in a high volume hotel environment is essential
