AREA SALES MANAGER – DISTRIBUTORS
THE ROLE
The successful candidate reports to the Regional Commercial Manager and will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure achievement of area volume targets for his/her Sales Area.
- Ensure competitive distributors margin via on-time communication and realistic target setting.
- Increase availability of products with distributors.
- Improve price compliance of distributors over specified period.
- Increase stock levels with distributors.
- Minimize incidence of returned cheques from customers.
- Prospect and create new accounts in his/her Sales Area.
- Ensure timely delivery of credit notes and other communication to the customers.
The successful candidate reports to the Regional Commercial Manager and will be responsible for the following:

- Should provide evidence of participation in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme or exemption.
- Should have a minimum of two (2) years sales experience at managerial level in a FMCG Company.

- Manage administration of Senior Sales Officers activities for his/her team.

- Carry out the review of all tax returns – WHT, VAT, Excise duties, PAYE etc.
- Carry out periodic review and reconciliation of financial results/general ledgers to tax returns.
- Monitor and implement the Company’s Tax Control Framework.
- Resolute on the current/outstanding tax audit issues and assessments.
